Basically faces are an under rated band who deserve the recognition that this box set shows. I can t imagine anything sounding better to my ears. View credits reviews tracks and shop for the 2015 vinyl release of 1970 1975. The 62 page booklet explaining their history also includes comments from others in the music industry.

Got both faces boxes and the vinyl set is pretty great. Every album they put out is incredible and all are necessary albums for classic rock fans. Ron wood s guitar strokes rather than slashes but i ve been listening to cds for several years in between turntables. Rhino have revealed that the five lp vinyl edition of you can dance sing or anything 1970 75 the forthcoming faces box set will be cut straight from the analogue tapes.

If you enjoy this also pick up the faces even better box set of live songs and rarities called five guys walk into a bar which may be the best box set ever created. The label promise superior audiophile quality and for once this actually means something since the analogue tape direct to lacquers process cuts out the digital domain completely. Beautifully presented and sounds great. You can make me dance sing or anything.

Only played side one of first step so far but i hear warm flat transfer no compression or other concessions to the current marketplace. I got the vinyl set last year having previously owned various issues of all the albums on cd.
