The door s mission is to empower young people to reach their potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment. Our sat prep tutoring approach at open door education we pride ourselves on offering tutoring specially suited to the individual needs of our students. Of the 7 000 current members the majority are between 16 and 19 years of age and most are african american or latino with a growing number of immigrants from china. We also offer smaller sat study groups with rolling admissions.
